Facilities at the ACC

Our facilities consist of a large student computer lab where students will find application programs that support their coursework, and provide Internet access. Our multimedia classroom supports College Workshops, and provides a venue for teachers to introduce their classes to educational technology including Blackboard and ePortfolios.  For a complete list of multimedia classrooms supported by the ACC, click here.

Student Computer Lab (L-117)

  • This lab is staffed by technicians who can help students with technical issues.
  • This lab consists of 67 PCs running Windows 10 and 5 iMacs running macOS Mojave (10.14).
  • Software to support your curriculum is installed on computers upon request. 

Multimedia Classroom (MMCR / L-117)

  • This lab is for Faculty and Staff workshops and for use by faculty who want to introduce their students to educational technology.
  • This lab consists of 24 PCs that are run the latest version of Windows 10
  • There is a fully functioning podium system which includes the following capabilities:
    • A Smart Board with Touch Capabilities
    • VCR / DVD Player for Video Playback
    • Document Camera for display of written content
    • External connections for Laptop or other devices via HDMI, VGA or A/V connections

LB-16 Student Computer Lab / Smart Classroom

  • This lab is primarily used as an overflow lab for L-117 (Check with L-117 lab staff to find out if this room is open)
  • This lab can also be reserved for Faculty and Staff workshops and for use by faculty who want to introduce their students to educational technology.
  • This lab Consists of 42 PCs running Windows 10
  • There is a fully functioning podium system which includes the following capabilities:
    • VCR / DVD Player for Video Playback
    • Document Camera for display of written content
    • External connections for Laptop or other devices via VGA or A/V connections
