Liberal Arts and Sciences - Associate in Arts degree (AA) - Personal Training

Personal Training is a multidisciplinary concentration for students to learn about the personal training profession and develop the skills commonly utilized by members of the profession. It will provide a strong foundation for students who wish to obtain various personal training certifications. The courses will cover anatomy, physiology and biomechanics as well as, nutrition, body composition, weight control and fitness assessment. Increasingly, employers such as health clubs, hospitals, YMCAs, and similar organizations are looking to hire individuals with degrees in personal training rather than just a personal training certification.
