2025 Innovative Education Conference (IEC) 

The purpose of the IEC is to bring together University of Rhode Island  faculty with other faculty and practitioners from2025 CUNY Teaching and Learning Conference across Rhode Island, the New England region, and beyond to share and discuss best practice approaches to teaching, learning, faculty development and support in a higher education context. The IEC is a virtual conference, allowing for greater accessibility and flexibility for presenters and attendees.

2025 CUNY Teaching and Learning Conference

The CUNY Teaching and Learning Conference is a celebration of teaching excellence and a commitment to creating a thriving academic community. Our mission is to foster inter-campus collaborations and mentoring relationships related to teaching that will enhance the learning experience for our students. Additionally, the conference aims to cultivate a culture of professional growth at all stages of development and a stronger sense of belonging among CUNY faculty participants.

Aligned with CUR’s mission, the ConnectUR conference provides a platform for attendees to engage in professional development, explore innovative practices, and collaborate with peers dedicated to advancing impactful research programs. 2025 SACNAS National Diversity in STEM (NDiSTEM) Conference

With over 5,000 attendees, the NDiSTEM Conference is the largest multidisciplinary and multicultural STEM (including Social Sciences) diversity conference in the country. Over the course of the event, college-level through professional attendees are immersed in cutting-edge STEM research, professional development sessions, motivational keynote speakers, and the Academic & Career Expo, as well as multicultural celebrations and traditions, and an inclusive and welcoming community of peers, mentors, and role models.

October 30 - November 1, 2025 in Colombus, OH.  

Session proposals are being accepted for: 

Professional Development sessions - due March 28, and

STEM Symposia - due April 4.

NDiSTEM for students: Travel scholarship and research presentation applications are due March 28.
