The Student Center

Located in the lower level of the Student Union Building, the Student Center is the place to go if you want to relax between classes. The Student Center and its amenities are accessible to any student with a valid Queensborough Community College CUNY Identification Card.

The Student Center’s available services:

For the Student Who Wants to Study

  • Multitude of Wifi Internet-Access Study Spaces
  • Two Quikboost Charging Stations for cell phones, tablets, and laptops

 

For the Student Who Wants to Relax

  • Two Billiards Tables
  • One Foosball Table
  • One Piano for playing
  • Assortment of Card Games, Dominoes, Board Games
  • An enclosed Game Room with Play Station and X-Box Games (also, feel free to bring your own controller and favorite games to play). If you don't have your own controller, the Office of Student Activities will provide you with one to use.
  • Lounge Area to chat with comfortable seating  

 

For the Student Who Wants Refreshments or Supplies

  • Tiger Bites Cafe
  • Soda and Snack Food Vending Machines
  • Water Fountain (bring your own reuseable bottle to refill)
  • Two Microwave Ovens for student use
  • Queensborough Community Card TigerCard Kiosk to add funds to your TigerCard to add funds to your TigerCard for dining dollars, useful for on-campus dining all over campus, in addition to adding funds to your TigerCard to pay for Student Parking on-campus in Lot 2 and Lot 6.
