Queensborough Student Association

The office is providing services to students via e-mail, telephone, and online zoom appointments, with limited in-person services available. We recommend that you continue to work with us remotely - it's convenient and easy!

All visitors to campus are required to show proof of vaccination or a negative Covid test no more than seven days prior to coming to campus. Masks are required for in-person services.

Student Group Requirements

To become a recognized Student Group at Queensborough Community College (QCC), the Club Advisor must complete the Group Registration Application, the Club President, Vice President and Senator must each complete the Student Officer Form and ten students must sign up to join your Club.  Once the Forms are completed, the Club information will be reviewed and approved by the Queensborough Student Association (QSA) Ratification Committee of the Student Senate.

As per the Constitution of the Queensbsorough Student Association "All benefits, privileges, and members of the QSA provides shall be open to all QSA members regardless of race, gender, creed, color, religion, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, and/or veteran status." (Article I, Seciton III)

QSA Student Group Officer Qualifications

To be an officer of a QSA Student Group the following academic qualifications must be met:

  1. Must be a registered student at Queensborough Community College.

  2. Must be matriculated at Queensborough Community College.

  3. Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 to hold office.

  4. Must have completed a minimum of twelve (12) college credits and/or equated credits.

  5. Must carry a minimum of six (6) credits and/or chargeable hours while holding office.

  6. Must have completed and earned passing grades (i.e., A, B, C, D) in at least 50 percent of the credits for which he/she registered the prior semester at QueensboroughCommunity College, but in no event less than 3 credits. If more than 50 percent of thecredits attempted is either F, W, WU, INC, ABS, etc., he/she is no longer to hold office for a QSA Student Group.
