Policy for Recruitment of Participants for Surveys
If the researcher is external to CUNY: The college does not allow researchers outside of CUNY to collect data from its students or faculty.
If the researcher is from CUNY and the PI wants to collect data from faculty:

The PI should forward the following information to the Human Subjects Research Protection Program (HRPP) Coordinator, Dr. Linda Bastone, Dean of Faculty (linda.bastone@qcc.cuny.edu): current IRB approval, a brief summary of the research, a list of the benefits of the study to our faculty, provide the recruitment method, and the research procedure.

After the items listed above are received and reviewed by the HRPP coordinator, the research request will be forwarded to Provost Dr. Phyllis Curtis-Tweed (phyllis.curtis-tweed@qcc.cuny.edu) for approval.
- If Provost Curtis-Tweed approves, then the PI will be allowed to collect data.
If the researcher is from CUNYand the PI wants to collect data from students:
