The QCC Jobs Council Apprenticeship program allows you to pursue a paid, credit-bearing technology apprenticeship at companies like American Express, TD Bank, JP Morgan Chase or Deloitte while earning your degree. You will gain in-demand skills needed to succeed in the workplace and earn a family-sustaining wage!

 

Eligibility

  • Be on track to graduate as a CSS, CYB or IIT Major immediately after completing the Apprenticeship Program in the Spring.

  • Have a minimum 2.5 GPA by the start of the previous Fall Term.

  • Submit Candidacy Form by the end of Spring prior to your Apprenticeship.

  • Be eligible to work in the United States.

Apprenticeship Timeline

Spring

  • Complete Apprenticeship Course Map
  • Build a Professional Resume
  • Earn 10+ Apprenticeship Points
  • Submit Candidacy Form
  • Meet with Program Coordinator
  • Sign Apprenticeship Learning Contract

Summer

  • Finalize your application materials
  • Complete individualized learning goals

Fall

  • Career Prep Seminar (ET 993)
  • Submit your formal application materials
  • Interview with Partner Companies

Winter

  • Complete January Bridge Program (ET 992), an intensive boot camp style training

Spring

  • Participate in Apprenticeship (maximum of 1 other course that semester)
  • Graduate in May
