Course Description in college catalog:

Introduction to statistics and the use of a profes­sional statistical software package. Descriptive statistics, probability, binomial and normal distri­butions, sampling, confidence intervals and tests of hypotheses.

The general guidelines for assessing grades are as follows:

• Examinations, Assignments and Classroom Performance 50%
• Writting Projects 20%
• Final Examination 30%

The distribution may be changed at the discretion of the individual instructor.
