Tuesday, 11/28 | 3:00pm - 4:00pm | Conquering Mathematics | Mathematics Anxiety deals with feelings of tension and anxiety which interfere with the manipulation of numbers and the solving of mathematical problems. This tension and anxiety can interfere with general mathematics performance. It is important to make our students feel more comfortable about solving math problems. By improving study skills, homework patterns, note-taking skills and test-taking skills, students will become more self-aware and self-confident in math classes, and their general strength in math studies will improve. |

Destress and unwind with us as the semester winds down and before finals begin. Learn ways to bust stress and gain resources to help you achieve better social, emotional, and physical health. We will host/engage in various activities throughout the week such as henna, puppies, and a career panel in Psychology. There will be a raffle for complimentary massages. Please check the events calendar for dates and times. Unless otherwise noted, all events will be in the Student Union Lobby.

This workshop will allow us to learn strategies for our body to release pent-up energy by signaling from your mind to your body that it's okay to relax and prepare for constructive rest.
