NewsStudent Performance - Kwanzaa Reflection
On Sunday, December 9, the Queensborough Community College Dance Program presented its first Kwanzaa Celebration. Produced and directed by Adjunct Faculty Kevin McEwen, this program proposed to celebrate the QCC local and extended community through dance and music.
The Department of Health, Physical Education and Dance is excited to announce the State of New York has approved a new Associate in Science degree program in Public Health Program - a joint venture between HPED and Biology.
Public health refers to "the science of preventing disease, prolonging life and promoting health". Public Health is projected to be among the top 10 majors at the 4-year CUNY colleges. There are many career opportunities in Public Health - this site lists 100 of the most common jobs
