Scholarships can be used to pay for part or all of your four-year college expenses. Scholarships do not need to be repaid. Although scholarships are usually based on merit (your GPA), or financial need, there are other criteria for which you may qualify. The Transfer Scholars Network works to connect high-achieving community college students, who have excelled academically, represent diverse backgrounds, and have positively impacted their campus and communities to 14 four-year highly selective partner institutions that help them navigate the financial aid, credit transfer, and application process. The result: they are better positioned to gain admission to and excel at colleges and universities where they have the highest likelihood of graduating with a bachelor’s degree.

- Opportunity to participate in Vassar College's Exploring Transfer Summer Program. Through a five-week residential program and immersion in the liberal arts, Exploring Transfer enables community college students to imagine a broader range of academic opportunities than might otherwise have been impossible. The structure of Exploring Transfer courses include five hours of classwork and workshops five days a week, broken into two-hour blocks (one in the morning and one in the afternoon). Exploring Transfer is a full-time program that requires students to be present on campus with no other outside obligations, such as work or online courses.
