 5.1        Student Technology Fee Committee meeting (3-30-2023)

 

  1. Scaling asynchronous faculty training (CUNY initiative)
  2. Move for faculty to get approval for asynchronous teaching after completion of

one of the following 3 trainings to procure approval for asynchronous teaching: Quality Matters https://www.qualitymatters.org/ , eLearning Institute https://www.qcc.cuny.edu/elearning/facultySupport.html, ACUE https://acue.org/

  1. eLearning Institute is currently not offered
  2. Quality Matters summer course is full, The next QM cohort will run in Fall 2023
  3. Business Administration program in Phase I – courses fully asynchronous

6.1          Committee Addendum - Tony and Shenaz

According to Steering Committee, the committee should continue to write and publish the eLearning Committee Addendum/ Guidebook, which is under DOCUMENTS on our webpage (Goal #2: eLearning Committee will provide guideline guidelines, standards, and best practices in online instruction to the College.)
