Business:

The meeting was called to order at 10:00AM

  1. The agenda was approved.
  2. The minutes of the 11/14/24 meeting were approved with an attendance correction.
  3. Explain plan for assignment of faculty to committees.
Murolo will be doing most of the work. Volin has sent out the email to eligible faculty and staff. Reminders will go out automatically to those who do not respond. CoC and Budget committees are not part of this process. Dahlke will reach out to Lieberman (chair of Budget) to determine if they need help obtaining new members.
The CoC has templates for emails to go out for Senate member-at-large elections. Dahlke has access to Google nomination form used in the past and will provide access to Kolack. Will continue process using Big Pulse and add notes to the Committee Guide Addendum since the CoC is reclaiming this duty from the Steering Committee. See Senate roster for which groups (faculty, HEO, adjuncts) are up for election. Per an 11/18/24 email from Martha Weller in HR to Dahlke, the CoC, and Vaswani, Lisa (lscandaliato@qcc.cuny.edu) updated/reviewed the distribution lists. The election is for 14 FMAL and 1 CLT; no adjuncts this year.
  4. Old business.
Moon is a member of the CRC and would like to be the liason for that Committee and switch with whoever has been assigned (Atik).
  5. New business.
    None.
The meeting was adjourned at 10:40AM.

Respectfully submitted by:

Kevin Kolack
