Writing Intensive Nature of Philosophy Classes

All classes in Philosophy involve writing assignments.

Writing assignments may be revised, either all of them or at least some of them, at the instructor's discretion.

At least 30% of the final grade is based on written assignments.

Instructors will attempt to include at least one writing assignment that is "low stakes" with regard to the final grade and to being evaluated for grammar, syntax, spelling and organization.
