Safe Zone Training

Safe Zone Training

The Safe Zone two-hour training offers faculty, staff, and administrators an opportunity to learn how to be allies to LGBTQ+ students. This training introduces issues that LGBTQ+ students face and explores how everyone can help make Queensborough a more welcoming place. During the session, participants will explore terminology, affirming language, best practices, and engage in self-reflection.

Due to the workshop's format, participants are asked to register only for days and times when they can commit to staying for the entire duration and actively participate with cameras on.
