The Queensborough Mosaic Fund
Queensborough's 2021–2026 Strategic Plan identifies Cultivating a Community of Care as one of its three overarching goals, underscoring the college’s commitment to fostering a campus climate that is respectful, affirming, and inclusive.
In support of this vision, the Queensborough Mosaic Fund was created to provide financial support for full-time faculty and staff who want to design and host college-wide events that celebrate culture, gender identity, and the many ways we connect as a community.
Have you had an idea for a cultural event you’d love to see happen? Or maybe you and a colleague have talked about hosting a panel discussion on a topic that matters to you. The Mosaic Fund is your invitation to help shape the experiences we all share.
Here are just a few possibilities you could bring to life:
- A cultural food fair
- A panel on traditions, identities, or community stories
- A dance, art, or music showcase from diverse cultures
- A celebration of international holidays
- A workshop on gender identity and expression
The Mosaic Fund makes it possible to turn creative ideas into meaningful campus experiences that explore, uplift, and celebrate the richness of our community.
