The Academic Senate Committee on Publications met on Thursdayday, September 12, 2024, 2:00 PM-2:40 PM, via Zoom


Committee Members in Attendance:

Patrick Buyers(chair), Roumen Vragov (Co-Secretary), Melida Sanchez, Jim Geasor, Marc Zelcer

Business:

The meeting was called to order at 2:10 pm

 

  1. Agenda was unanimously approved
  2. The committee discussed updates to the committee website, including the addition of the addendum.
  3. Discussion of departmental website editorial recommendations. It was decided that we would look over each of the websites and discuss at the October meeting.
  4. The committee discussed how to best go about making more effective editorial recommendations for minor issues with the website. There was discussion of  a possible change to the bylaws. Ultimately, it was decided that a file would be created to be stored in a Dropbox shared with committee members who would add to a list of needed edits. Periodically, the document would be shared with Adam Volin who would make the changes as appropriate.

 

Meeting was adjourned at 2:40 pm.
