The Academic Senate Committee on Publications met on Fridayday, April 19, 2024, 2:10 PM-2:40 PM, via Zoom


Committee Members in Attendance:

Patrick Buyers(chair), Roumen Vragov (Co-Secretary), Melida Sanchez, Jim Geasor, Wenli Guo

Business:

The meeting was called to order at 2:10 pm

  1. Agenda was discussed and minutes from previous meeting were approved.
  2. Patrick reported that we should look into the term expirations of various members and we should get ready to welcome new members for next year.
  3. We discussed getting a list of the Web coordinators from each department – one of our new members Adam might help us with that.
  4. For now we would like to make sure that each Department has the tenure and promotion guidelines edited based on our suggestions and office hours for each Professor clearly posted.
  5. We continued discussion of creating a booklet with tips for the web coordinators and a time line for editing the Department’s page.
  6. The meeting was adjourned at 2:50.
