The Academic Senate Committee on CURRICULUM COMMITTEE met on October 1, 2024 at 2:05 pm via Zoom


Committee Members in Attendance:

Jeffrey Ballerini, Ingrid Jaramillo Estrella, Bonnie Flaherty, Tirandai Hemraj-Benny (Secretary), Vazgen Shekoyan (Chair), Nathaniel Sullivan, Michael Pullin (Academic Affairs), Leslie Ward

Also in Attendance:  Arthur Corradetti (Academic Affairs), Sarbani Ghoshal (Biological Sciences and Geology)


Business:

The meeting was called to order at 2:05 PM

  • The committee welcomed Dean Corradetti to discuss the following new policy proposal: Forgiveness Policy. The proposal was considered by all members present, and it was passed unanimously.
  • The committee welcomed Dr. Ghoshal from the Biological Sciences and Geology Department to discuss the following course revision to include additional pre-requisite courses: BI-503 General Epidemiology. The proposal was considered by all members present, and it was passed unanimously.
  • The committee approved the minutes of the May 7, 2024, meeting.

The meeting was adjourned at 2:40 PM.
