The meeting was called to order at December 13, 2019 at 10:00 a.m
Topics discussed:
- Recommendation was made to follow a similar formula to that of degree audit when going over dismissal appeals.
- Appeals coming from Services for Students with Disabilities should have a letter of support attached.
- Letters supporting student’s late withdrawal can be emailed or sent with student. An example of a letter was reviewed. Students who have difficulty obtaining a letter and wish to speak to the Committee can be sent to Academic Advisement.
- The list of comments was reviewed and updated.
The Committee on Course and Standing reviewed 75 appeals in total.
