The meeting was called to order at December 13, 2019 at 10:00 a.m

Topics discussed:

  1. Recommendation was made to follow a similar formula to that of degree audit when going over dismissal appeals.
  2. Appeals coming from Services for Students with Disabilities should have a letter of support attached.
  3. Letters supporting student’s late withdrawal can be emailed or sent with student. An example of a letter was reviewed.  Students who have difficulty obtaining a letter and wish to speak to the Committee can be sent to Academic Advisement.
  4. The list of comments was reviewed and updated.

The Committee on Course and Standing reviewed 75 appeals in total.
