The Academic Senate Committee on Committee on Course & Standings met on Friday, May 17, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. in Room # A-104

Business:

The meeting was called to order at May 17, 2019 at 10:00 a.m

New members Arthur Abramov; Neera Mohess; and Wendy Ford were introduce to the Committee.

Committee members went over Chair and Secretary duties and discussed the committees over all responsibilities and actions.

Committee members voted for a new chair and secretary.

Fei Ye was elected new Committee Chair.

Neera Mohess was elected new Committee Secretary.

The Committee split up into 4 groups to look over retro-active and late withdrawals.

Ex-officio Florence Farrat discussed the academic process; good standing; probation; continued probation; and dismissal process for next meeting. She mentioned she will retire and her last day will be July 31, 2019.

Fresh Start/New Start will begin next semester Fall 2019 through Academic Affairs.

Next meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at 10am in A-104 conference room.
