The meeting was called to order at January 11, 2019 at 10:00 a.m

The Committee met to review the dismissed (DISM) students from the Academic Standing run for the Fall 2018 (1189) semester.  These students were electronically determined to be subject to dismissal.

The department of Institutional Research proceeded to electronically review those 781 students and categorize them into groups by evaluating their possible ability to graduate.

Another consideration by the committee to grant continued probation (PF) to a student is if they have registered for the consecutive semester (i.e. dismissed 1189 and registered 1192). The committee feels it represents the willingness of the student to continue in classes and improve.

It was discussed by the committee that the students who were dismissed had an opportunity to appeal the decision and be granted continued probation if the appeal was approved.

The final results of the Committee’s decisions is recorded on the chart below.
