1. Minutes- from the May 15, 2024, were approved
  1.     Agenda- The meeting agenda was approved

    1. Presentations of the assessment of the non-teaching departments reports:

    1. Susana Pinheiro
    2. Kathryn Wong

It was discussed that many of us are unable to evaluate the non-teaching departments as many of them are not available to assess yet on the website yet.  Arthur kindly offered to assist.

There was some talk and consideration about reassigning reports based on what is available on the website.

Elizabeth asked if the rubric is published. It is not published and is only for the committee to use as an evaluative tool.

Arthur offered how, in general, a report should flow and be worded. A report should demonstrate a measurable outcome not just a report on what occurred.

Arthur suggested that we email the VPs of the respective departments with a general summary of what is determined upon in each review.

Arthur expressed concerns over how reports are written but there is very little to no follow-up or feedback. It was also suggested that some might not even know what the process is.

    1. Old Business

We will review the general education report from Ian and Susana will send it out as soon as it is available.

Arthur asked that this committee make a recommendation to the Senate about the Gen Ed assessment artifact gathering especially since we are looking at Pathways outcomes. He added that are harder outcomes to assess than our college outcomes.

    1. New Business

We thought we could assess teaching departments, but it is too early to do assignments for those.

    1. Next meeting will be on 11/13
    2. Adjournment- Meeting was adjourned 12:56pm

Respectfully submitted by:

Alisa Cercone
