The Academic Senate Committee on Committee on Assessment & Institutional Effectiveness met on 4/9/25, 12:20PM, S-222


Committee Members in Attendance:

Business:

The meeting was called to order at 12:20PM

  1. Minutes: The minutes from the February 26th, 2025, meeting were approved.

    Agenda: The agenda of this meeting is approved.
  2. Presentations of the assessment of the Non-Teaching department reports:
  • Office of Student Success
  • Center for Tutoring and Academic Support (CTAS)
  • Advocacy Resource Center
  • Community Standards
  1. Presentations of the assessment of the Teaching department reports:
  • Engineering Technology-The wrong document was assessed from the website. The needed report is missing
  1. End of the year report:
  • Susana will have a draft by the last meeting. It is due on May 29. We will suggest turning the meetings into working sessions with working groups that will assess available reports.
  • How do we encourage more departments to submit their reports? - Stefan suggested having workshops to assist with writing.
  1. Old business- No old business was discussed
  2. New business- No new business was discussed.
  3. Next meeting: May 14th, 2024
  4. Adjournment- The meeting was adjourned at 1:32pm
