Business:

The meeting was called to order at 12:05PM

  1. Attendance
  2. Review Committee meeting minutes Oct 23, 2024 and informational meeting notes Nov 26, 2024 – approved without corrections
  3. Reports from subcommittees
Discussed departmental presentation to advisers in September and March. Duque sends notice to Chairs. We could promote to faculty.
  4. Workshop ideas
Must make sure we sponsor one in the Spring semester.
  5. Old business
Charges revisions must be completed early next semester.
  6. New business
Do we want to survey faculty again next semester? (Goes with our charges.) The only thing that came up last time was that faculty wanted them on paper, which we asked about and were told was not going to happen. Strategies for increasing student response rate? There will be a big survey of faculty/staff/students for Gardner. Promote videos from last year (to faculty; to students).
Last email regarding evals to faculty was Nov 1. There needs to be a reminder sent to faculty. Bastone will ask that a reminder be sent since the eval period is 12/2-12/15. Did Marketing send students the video? Karlin will ask student workers if they received it. Kolack will ask DiDio to put on the home screen of website, and Bejar for CUNYFirst and Brightspace. Both for Navigate360. Akpinar will ask May in Marketing about resending video.
    Next meeting TBA
Meeting adjourned 12:25PM.

Respectfully submitted by:

Kevin Kolack
