Making an Appointment

The College Discovery Academic Support Center is offering live and online one-to-one and group tutoring sessions for a wide selection of your courses. We are using Zoom Platform to offer our services in a virtual environment at this time.

To Receive Content Tutoring, use the following steps:

  1. Use the links below to look for the courses for which we offer tutoring and your tutor.

  2. Choose a tutor and time that works for you. Then choose a second tutor and time in case your first choice is not available. Appointments can be made up to six days in advance, but not on the same day and before 4pm.

  3. Request an appointment for tutoring by emailing us at: CDtutorialservices@qcc.cuny.edu. Please tell us your first and second choice. One of our dedicated staff members will contact you to confirm your appointment. All next day appointments must be requested before 4pm.

  4. Check your e-mail on the day of your appointment. Just click on the link included in the e-mail to join the session. It's that simple! You'll also receive a tip sheet for working on Blackboard Collaborate. Please read these tips before your session starts.

If the course you need help with is not listed below, please schedule an appointment at the Center for Tutoring and Academic Support (CTAS). View the Resources for Subject Area Learning offered by CTAS.

The Office of Special Programs is also offering online tutoring for students within the College Discovery Program’s (CD). Stop by to set up an appointment with a tutor.
