QCC Online Bookstore

Welcome to the QCC Online Bookstore!

QCC online bookstore now open

Queensborough Community College is launching a new Online Bookstore platform for textbooks, course materials, and branded merchandise. Faculty will be able to easily evaluate and select their course materials through the new system while students review and order course materials through a school-branded website and have their items shipped to them on an individual basis.

Queensborough has partnered with CUNY's exclusive online bookstore provider, Akademos, for this endeavor. Akademos currently serves 19 CUNY colleges and universities and has provided students at over 150 schools with many low cost textbook options and significant savings through their innovative online bookstore platform which utilizes state-of-the-art technology to fully integrate with school systems.

The new platform is designed to provide students with affordable course materials, convenience, and choice. For faculty, the textbook submission process will be intuitive, quick, and expand on their ability to indicate whether they are using traditional course materials, Open Educational Resources (OER), or other non-traditional materials. Students will be able to go to one source to review their full course list and assigned course materials prior to the start of the term.
