Admissions Requirements
- Application Required: No
- Degree Requirement: Completed Associate of Science degree (AS) in Psychology at QCC
- Minimum CUM GPA: 2.5
- Audition/Portfolio: Not applicable
Notes:
- Grade of C or better required in ENGL-101 English Composition I, its equivalent, or a higher-level English course.
- A minimum grade of C is required in all courses in the Psychology major. Where there are prerequisites, a student may not progress to the next course in the sequence without having a grade of C in the prerequisite course(s).
- QCC graduates will be awarded 60 transfer credits towards the bachelor's degree. Upon matriculation into the B.A. program in Psychology, students will be required to fulfill electives and major requirements as specified.
- As part of the Online Psychology Academy, no transfer application will be needed. Students will instead respond to outreach from the CUNY School of Professional Studies (SPS) Admissions Office indicating their intent to attend SPS the following semester.
Additional Notes: All students must successfully complete two (2) writing-intensive classes (designated "WI") at Queensborough Community College to fulfill degree requirements.
