Our Mission, Vision, Values
Mission
The mission of The PRIDE Center at QCC is to curate a nurturing environment that celebrates and uplifts the lives of LGBTQIA+ students, faculty, and staff. The PRIDE Center aligns with QCC’s larger culture of care by educating the campus about allyship, inclusion, and intersectionality.
Vision
Through intentional programs, services, and resource navigation, The PRIDE Center at QCC aspires to be a nationally recognized LGBTQIA+ cultural hub that has a profound impact on the campus community, CUNY campuses, and organizations in New York City and beyond.Values

Social Justice: The PRIDE Center values equity, LGBTQIA+ liberation, and anti-racism by providing a space to advocate for collective needs and equipping people with the tools to be self-advocates.

Intersectionality & Belonging: The PRIDE Center recognizes that the LGBTQIA+ community is not monolithic and creates space for people to be their whole selves and for niche lived experiences to be seen, validated, and celebrated.
