In Attendance:  Wilfredo Moran, Kwang Hyun Kim, Sybil White, Jun Shin, Lisa Scandaliato, Victor Fichera (guest)

Business

1.) Called Meeting to Order: 12:12pm AM (Virtual Meeting)

2.) Student Survey

  • Following up with the student survey discussion from Spring 2024, Victor Fichera from Institutional Research discussed its progress. The program Qualtrics will be used to collect the data. Victor should have a draft by Tuesday and hopefully launch the quiz the following week. The survey will be live until the first week in December.
  • The committee discussed ways to promote the survey to get the best response.
  • Looking at QCC email for distribution throughout campus.

 

3.) Volunteer Fair

  • Chairperson Moran wants to host a Volunteer Fair in the spring. This should give the committee enough time to find a location and businesses willing to participate.
  • The committee spoke on collaborating with departments on campus to improve the Volunteer Fair’s turnout. Chairperson Moran will reach out to the Career Services Department.
  • Advertising on campus can be done through social media.
  • Chairperson Moran is reaching out to the new Student Government to invite them to participate in the committee so they can assist with planning the event.
