Run the NYC Marathon with one of Queensborough's charity bibs to raise funds and give our students the Edge for Success!

The Queensborough Community College Fund, Inc. is thrilled to have been selected as an Official Charity Partner for the 2025 TCS New York City Marathon! In one of the most iconic events around the world, five charity runners will unite in New York City to run 26.2 miles in support of our 10,000 + Queensborough students.

Funds raised by the selected runners will help go to support the QCC Fund Promise Scholarship, which helps students with a tuition balance with as little as $500 from stopping out. Financial inability stands in their way of earning a college degree.

To apply to be a Queensborough runner*, please click the link and fill out survey below by Friday March 21st. Tell us how you plan to fundraise, why you want  to run, and how your support can make a difference!

The Queensborough Community College Fund, Inc. supports Queensborough Community College, its students, faculty and its programs. The “Edge for Success” provides scholarships, support and an enriched learning environment to hardworking students giving them an extra edge so they can complete college, find a career and earn a living wage.

Since its inception in 1975, the Fund has worked to bridge financial gaps and decrease equity disparities experienced by our students to ensure their success. The Board allocates approximately $1,000,000 budget per year to support the cultural centers on campus, faculty and staff development, and student success and academic excellence.

With scholarships, awards, peer-support, mentoring, emergency aid, cultural programming, and innovative faculty initiatives, the Fund provides students with opportunities to complete their studies and earn a college degree.
