Faculty Biography - Susan Hock

M.S.-Secondary Education and English, Long Island University

Susan Hock loves helping students improve their writing and critical thinking skills. She is very involved with CATW test preparation and is a certified CATW reader. She has collaborated with The Queens Historical Society to implement various service learning projects in her classes. She has also worked with The Holocaust Center on campus to develop service learning as part of her curriculum. She recently co authored an article with Dr.Regina Rochford titled “A Letter Writing Campaign: Linking Academic Success and Civic Engagement.” She is hoping to continue to find ways to stimulate students!
