A continuation of Drawing I with the inclusion of the human gure and visual points of view other than the representational.

Students will achieve the following course objectives:

1. Demonstrate the ability to create contours derived from a careful observation of reality or for purposes of abstraction.

2. Demonstrate an understanding of spatial relationships through the use of atmospheric or linear perspective. 

3. Demonstrate the ability to construct a unified work through the integration of its parts. 

4. Demonstrate the ability to translate light and shade into a drawing, using an appropriate method and tonal range.

5. Demonstrate the ability to use methods, marks, or materials suited to an established and continuously evolving personal aesthetic or creative artistic purpose.

The general education outcome is assessed by participation in lectures, class discussions  and group critiques. An analytic rubric is used to assess knowledge and skills as evidenced by the integration of various elements of drawing to achieve a unified whole, while expressing a particular vantage point or personal creative aesthetic.
