The Office of Educational Technology (OET) is located in L-314 on the third floor of the Library Building. The OET works closely with faculty, staff and students to promote the development and dissemination of innovative uses of technology in teaching and learning.

The activities and services offered by the OET support team include:

  • Promote the use of technology and best practices in enhancing teaching and learning
  • Utilize eLearning technologies to support faculty and staff with their teaching and learning goals. These technologies include are but not limited to: Blackboard Learn, Blackboard Collaborate, Lecture Capture Systems, Respondus Exam Software, SoftChalk, VoiceThread, PlayPosit and SoftChalk.
  • Provide instructional technology support, resources, training for faculty and students to maintain and manage a sound online, hybrid, and web-enhanced learning environment
  • Encourage faculty participation in distance learning initiatives and provide assistance and support in the development of courses and the use of appropriate learning technologies.
