CLIP Schedule, Registration, and Length of Study

Dates for the Spring 2016 Semester:

The Spring cycle begins February 1, 2016 and ends June 7, 2016. Day classes meet from 8:45am to 2:15pm Monday through Friday. Afternoon classes meet from 2:30pm to 8:00pm Monday through Friday. Evening classes meet from 5:00pm to 10:00pm Monday through Friday with 2.5 hours of online weekend study. Each class receives one hour of computer instruction per day in the CLIP Computer Lab.

Registration and Fees

Registration for Spring 2016 is from November 16, 2015 till January 22, 2016 between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM. There is a nominal fee for each session and students do not need to use up any of their financial aid in order to attend the Language Immersion Program.

NYS residents (minimum of 1 year): $180 for fall and spring | $75 for summer 

Non-NYS residents (or less than 1 year): $450 for fall and spring | $180 for summer

College Discovery, SEEK students and Public Assistance recipients:
$45 for fall and spring | $18 for summer

There is also a $5.00 non-refundable student activity fee.

Length of Study

Enrollment in CLIP is voluntary, although for students with Freshman Placement Test scores below a certain point, there may be no other option but to study in CLIP. There is a maximum amount of time students may stay in the program. They may not attend the program for more than one year or three cycles for a total of 900 hours.
