CLIP Schedule, Registration, and Length of Study

Dates for the Spring 2018 Semester:

The Spring cycle begins January 30, 2018 and ends June 5, 2018. Day classes meet from 8:45am to 2:15pm Monday through Friday. Afternoon classes meet from 2:30pm to 8:00pm Monday through Friday. Evening classes meet from 5:00pm to 10:00pm Monday through Friday. Each class receives one hour of computer instruction per day in the  CLIP Computer Lab.

Dates for the Summer 2018 Semester:

The Summer cycle begins June ??, 2018 and ends August ?, 2018. Day classes meet from 8:15am to 2:15pm Monday through Thursday. Afternoon classes meet from 2:30pm to 8:30pm Monday through Thursday. Evening classes meet from 5:00pm to 10:00pm Monday through Thursday (plus some Fridays). Each class receives one hour of computer instruction per day in the CLIP Computer Lab.

Dates for the Fall 2017 Semester:

The Fall cycle begins September 5, 2017 and ends December 21, 2017. Day classes meet from 8:45am to 2:15pm Monday through Friday. Afternoon classes meet from 2:30pm to 8:00pm Monday through Friday. Evening classes meet from 5:00pm to 10:00pm Monday through Friday. Each class receives one hour of computer instruction per day in the  CLIP Computer Lab.

 

Registration and Fees

Registration for Spring 2018 is from November 20, 2017 till January 12, 2018 between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM. There is a nominal fee for each session and students do not need to use up any of their financial aid in order to attend the Language Immersion Program.

NYS residents (minimum of 1 year): $180 for fall and spring | $75 for summer 

Non-NYS residents (or less than 1 year): $450 for fall and spring | $180 for summer

College Discovery, SEEK students and Public Assistance recipients:
$45 for fall and spring | $18 for summer

There is also a $5.00 non-refundable student activity fee.

Length of Study

Enrollment in CLIP is voluntary, although for students with Freshman Placement Test scores below a certain point, there may be no other option but to study in CLIP. There is a maximum amount of time students may stay in the program. They may not attend the program for more than one year or three cycles for a total of 900 hours.
