Josh Rothenberg is the Technical Director for the Speech, Communications and Theater Department.  His design work has been seen off-Broadway, off-off Broadway, regionally and at many colleges.   Josh has worked for over three decades on hundreds of theaters, television and movie sets and stages.   He was on stage in costume during the 1998 Tony Award winning revival of Cabaret for five years.   He spent over twelve years fabricating scenery and machinery at the Metropolitan Opera, also operating automation and hydraulic systems.  He has taught at Clark University, and was Technical Director at Columbia University.   He has presented at the New England Theater Conference. Former students who have worked crew for him include Tony Award Winner Diane Paulus,  Film Director Ernie Barbarash,  Professor Damon Kiely at Depaul University and Tony Winner and Hartford Stage Artisitic Director Darko Tresnak.
