Antonella Ansani
, Professor of Italian.
Laurea (M.A), University of Bologna, Italy; Ph.D., Yale University

Her area of specialization is the Italian Renaissance.  She has published articles on the relation between magic and rhetoric in Italian Renaissance literature and philosophy.  She has also written on the origin of the literary fairy tale, and on the representation of the grotesque body.
