**Two sequential courses are required, with the level and sequence of courses to be determined by Foreign Languages & Literature department placement. Spanish language courses are highly recommended.
***If already taken in common core, one course from HIST-100 series is recommended; if two History courses have been taken in common core, one Social Science course from Anthropology, CRIM-101 or CRIM-205, Economics, Sociology, Political Science, or Psychology is recommended. Equivalent or elective credit will be granted as appropriate.

- 100-level Spanish courses taken at QCC or York do not count toward the B.A. in Spanish and must be taken in addition to the degree requirements listed above.
- These credits may be applied toward a minor or second major at York College.
- Students transferring to York College must complete at least 40 credits in residence at York, with at least half of the credits in the major program taken at York College.
- A minimum of 56 credits must be completed at York College to graduate with honors.
- For the Bachelor of Arts degree, 90 credits of Liberal Arts are required. An overall GPA of 2.0 at York is required to graduate.
