Dominick Bruccoleri

Dominick Bruccoleri is the owner of Papazzio Restaurant and Caterers in Bayside, Queens. The restaurant has a Roman villa-like atmosphere with an emphasis on home-style cooking - it boasts making its own blend of spices from scratch. Papazzio Restaurant has been an integral part of the Bayside community for the past twenty-five years and offers a fusion of Northern and Southern Italian cuisine. Dominick’s favorite kitchen appliance might just be his coffee and espresso maker that he has had since he opened the restaurant. The coffee it produces is the perfect end to a meal.

Papazzio is also a big favorite at Taste of Bayside, the annual NE Queens restaurant scene which provides local eateries with the opportunity to promote their signature dishes. Dominick is not only the restaurateur of a twenty-five year stalwart of the Bayside dining scene, but also chairman of the Bayside Business Association’s Taste of Bayside Committee.

Dominick earned his B.A. degree from Kean University in 1982 and went back to school to take hotel and restaurant courses at New York University in 1993. He has also studied wines at Windows on the World under the direction of Kevin Zraly.

He is Chairman of the Board of Bayside Business Improvement District (BID), a board member of the Bayside Business Association and an honorary trustee of the Bayside Historical Society. He is also a former board member of the New York Law Enforcement Foundation. Dominick is an invaluable asset to the QCC Fund Board, Inc., and served as Chair of the Partners for Progress Gala from 2008 to 2011.

Dominick was elected to the QCC Fund Board of Directors in 2003 and previously served as Partners Gala Chair.
