Spring Student Symposium
The Spring Student Symposium (SSS) is a celebration of QCC students’ coursework, research, and creative work(s) during the academic year.
All students and faculty are welcome to come and see the wonderful student presentations and performances from the varied academic programs.
Participating in the SSS will prepare you for future experiences where you will need to present your work. To participate as a presenter, please work with your professor/faculty mentor to submit your abstracts or session description between April 5 (Friday) to April 17 (Wednesday).
Here is what is in it for you to participate in the SSS:
- Practice your presentation skills
- Share your work with an audience of peers and faculty
- Learn your peers' work in various disciplines
- The presenter will receive a USB drive and a certificate
- Build your professional resume
Guidelines for Submission: please provide a summary (150 words or less) of what your student(s) will showcase in their presentation. This can be in the form of an abstract, or a description of what the audience will learn about or experience by attending the presentation.
If the student presenters need to present at a specific classroom or lab, mentor faculty please specify the location in the "Comment/Special Requests to Organizers" field.
