The above study is an individual extension of the first phase of this project conducted by 10 faculty members from 7 CUNY colleges

 

Fall 1997-Fall 2001                     WISP (Work Immersion Study Program), a pilot summer 2001 program in German for Community College students. Member of a Steering Committee formed by faculty of Community Colleges, representatives of the Goethe Institute, AATG (American Association of Teachers of German), and CDS International.

Spring 1997-Fall 1998                 NEH grant (Hunter College/Queens College): Revise German programs (last phase 1997/98, 2 sem. 3 cred. release). One of the suggestions in the final NEH

report ([…] develop a culture course in English.) was approved by the QCC senate

(spring 2001).
