This class is for everyone. From beginners to experienced Yogi's.

Flow and Restore plus Core. Focus is on Abs. and Core. We will warm up, practice breathing, stretching, do some standing poses. Work on balance, steadiness, and flexibility, in a safe and fun way. Using props(yoga strap and 2 yoga blocks) one will learn how to incorporate these into the practice.

Come, relax, recharge, feel invigorated and uplifted.

PROPS NEEDED - A Yoga mat, 2 yoga blocks and a yoga strap.

These classes cover the fundamentals of tennis, including basic strokes, strategy, rules, scoring, and etiquette. Students will also participate in practice drills and both singles and doubles play. More advanced players will develop skills such as applying spin, improving court positioning and footwork, and mastering strategic techniques.

What to bring:
• Attire appropriate/readiness - weather appropriate/comfortable tennis apparel, footwear.
• Towel, water, cap, visor, bandana, wrist band.
• Appropriate tennis racket to mitigate potential risk of injury e.g. tennis elbow.
Tennis racket recommendation:
• Adult size - 27 inches +.
• Grip size - racket should fit comfortably in hand - no over-grip/no thumb overlap.

Adolescent/Pre-Teen Swim(Ages 7-14)

Unlock your creative potential in this engaging poetry workshop designed for individuals regardless of their writing background. This class will demystify the art of poetry, breaking down common myths and showcasing what poetry truly is.

Participants will explore various themes, including:

Writing from Nature and Memory: Learn to draw inspiration from your surroundings and personal experiences.

Found Poetry and Haiku: Discover unique forms of expression through the use of found language and the concise beauty of haiku.

Playing with Rhythm and Voice: Experiment with different rhythms and explore how voice can elevate your poetry.

Revising and Sharing: Hone your work through guided revisions and share your poems in a supportive environment.

As a culminating project, the class will create a collaborative chapbook or participate in a group reading, allowing each participant to share their unique voice.

This course introduces students to the fundamentals of playwriting, exploring the art and craft of writing for the stage. Students will study dramatic structure, character development, dialogue, and theme while engaging in workshops to give and receive constructive feedback. Through readings, exercises, and staged readings of student work, participants will develop original short plays and scenes, culminating in a portfolio of polished scripts. The course emphasizes the collaborative nature of theater, encouraging students to consider the practical realities of production in their writing.

By the end of this course, students will be able to:

1. Understand and apply the key elements of dramatic structure, including plot, conflict, and pacing.
2. Create compelling, multidimensional characters and authentic dialogue.
3. Analyze and critique plays for both literary and performative qualities.
4. Workshop their own and peers'; writing in a constructive, professional manner.
5. Develop and refine at least one original short play suitable for a staged reading.

Students Must Provide Their Own Laptops

Official Pickleball rules and scoring will be discussed. Pickleball advanced techniques and strategies will be introduced. Proper athletic clothing and footwear(sneakers) is required.

***Pickleballs will be supplied, paddles can be supplied, although it is suggested that Participants bring their own paddles***
