Tennis Lesson

These classes cover the fundamentals of tennis, including basic strokes, strategy, rules, scoring, and etiquette. Students will also participate in practice drills and both singles and doubles play. More advanced players will develop skills such as applying spin, improving court positioning and footwork, and mastering strategic techniques.
What to bring:
• Attire appropriate/readiness – weather appropriate/comfortable tennis apparel, footwear.
• Towel, water, cap, visor, bandana, wrist band.
• Appropriate tennis racket to mitigate potential risk of injury e.g. tennis elbow.
Tennis racket recommendation:
• Adult size – 27 inches +.
• Grip size – racket should fit comfortably in hand – no over-grip/no thumb overlap.

He currently teaches at the YMCA Cross Island Branch, Queensborough Community College, and across Queens and Long Island.
Andy Moy is a seasoned tennis instructor with over 20 years of coaching experience teaching all levels ranging from instructional-beginners to intermediate-high school to advanced-collegiate.
