CSL Class (Chinese as a Second Language)

Designed for children from non-Mandarin speaking families. The development of communication skills in listening and speaking will be emphasized. Reading skills will be developed by reading phrases, sentences and short paragraphs. Writing skills will be gradually increased as the children become more confident in their ability to use Mandarin. Both English and Mandarin are used to teach the class.

Tennis for Parents/Adults - Beginner

This course is designed to help beginners get to know tennis, deepen their interest in playing tennis, and help them exercise. The instruction includes forehand grip and forehand hitting, best contact point, backhand grip and backhand hitting, footwork and movement, serve and volleyball.

Tae Kwon Do

The class helps improve physical health with exercises for flexibility, strength, and stamina. It also boosts mental strength, building confidence and courage to face fears. Students learn to focus, respect others, and defend themselves with their hands and feet. Tae Kwon Do aims to keep kids healthy and safe both mentally and physically. Required age: 5 and up

Soccer

By working together to accomplish shared objectives, children who play soccer can better develop their teamwork skills. As players must coordinate moves and communicate strategies, they refine their communication abilities on the field. Playing soccer with kids teaches them the value of commitment, discipline, and following the rules. Soccer's brisk tempo improves balance, agility, and general physical health. As they analyze the game, plan, and make snap decisions, children also develop their decision-making abilities. Required age: 6 and up

Regular Chinese Class

Focus on learning and reviewing Pinyin, characters, phrases, sentences and paragraphs. Listening, speaking, reading, and writing will be emphasized through the learning of texts. This type of class is offered to the students from Mandarin speaking families. 85-90% of the instruction is conducted in Mandarin Chinese.
