Chinese Academy 3-hour Program (Chinese + regular enrichment classes)

The registration for the 2026-2027 school year is now open.

Chinese Class:

Saturday 9-11am: Kindergarten class, Regular Level 1-Level 5, Level 7, Level 9; CSL Level 1-Level 5, Level 7

Saturday12:20-2:20pm: Kindergarten class, Regular Level 1-Level 5; CSL Level 1-Level 2, Level 4

Kindergarten class: Focus on learning Mandarin pronunciation, simple characters, phrases and short sentences. Stories, games, and activities are included in the classroom instructions.

Regular Chinese Class: Focus on learning and reviewing Pinyin, characters, phrases, sentences and paragraphs. Listening, speaking, reading, and writing will be emphasized through the learning of texts. About 85% of the instruction is conducted in Mandarin Chinese.

CSL class: Designed for children from non-Mandarin speaking families. The development of communication skills in listening and speaking will be emphasized. Reading skills will be developed by reading phrases, sentences and short paragraphs. Writing skills will be gradually increased as the children become more confident in their ability to use Mandarin.

Enrichment Class:

11:05am-12:05pm: Arts & Crafts (all ages), Clay Dough (all ages), Watercolors (7+), Drawing w. Markers (all ages), Crochet (9+)

2:25-3:25pm: Clay Dough (all ages), Watercolors (7+), Drawing w. Markers (all ages)
