Chinese Class:
Friday 6:30-8:30pm: CSL Level 7 only
Saturday 9-11am: Kindergarten class, Regular Level 1-Level 5, Level 7, Level 9; CSL Level 1-Level 5, Level 7
Saturday 12:20-2:20pm: Kindergarten class, Regular Level 1-Level 5; CSL Level 1-Level 2, Level 4
Kindergarten class: Focus on learning Mandarin pronunciation, simple characters, phrases and short sentences. Stories, games, and activities are included in the classroom instructions.
Regular Chinese Class: Focus on learning and reviewing Pinyin, characters, phrases, sentences and paragraphs. Listening, speaking, reading, and writing will be emphasized through the learning of texts. About 85% of the instruction is conducted in Mandarin Chinese.
CSL class: Designed for children from non-Mandarin speaking families. The development of communication skills in listening and speaking will be emphasized. Reading skills will be developed by reading phrases, sentences and short paragraphs. Writing skills will be gradually increased as the children become more confident in their ability to use Mandarin.
Friday evening schedule is for CSL Level 7 class only.
What you'll learn

Students will focus on learning Mandarin pronunciation, simplified characters, phrases, paragraphs and Chinese culture through listening, speaking, reading and writing. Kindergarten, Regular and CFL (Chinese as a Foreign Language) classes are offered to students based on their ages, language and cultural backgrounds.
