Course Title: Prompt Engineering for ChatGPT: A Beginner's Course

This course is designed for adults who are new to using ChatGPT. Participants will learn the fundamentals of prompt engineering, enabling them to craft effective and engaging prompts to communicate with AI systems. The curriculum covers the basics of natural language processing (NLP), the pivotal role of prompts in AI interactions, and includes practical exercises to build proficiency. We will explore real-world use cases of ChatGPT in various domains such as work, education, and daily activities. By the end of the course, participants will have created a personalized prompt portfolio tailored to their industry and individual needs, shared experiences and insights with peers, and gained confidence in leveraging AI tools for diverse applications.

In this class you will learn to operate an electronic music synthesizer, integrate custom sounds into music composition, and create melodies and rhythms. This course also includes working with computer synthesis, practicing simple song arrangement, and creating the final audio-visual composition.

The Music Production Certificate program is an innovative program integrating music production and recording studio training that prepares students for jobs in the music and recording industries. Graduates of the program can look forward to career opportunities at commercial recording and production facilities, on-site recording venues, radio and broadcast networks, and manufacturers who serve the music production and recording industries.

The Music Production Certificate Program is designed to give a comprehensive introduction to the Audio Recording Arts and Sciences. In this comprehensive 10-week course, you will learn practical skills in music production, mixing, sound design and more, using the most up-to-date and relevant industry-standard software. In addition to learning these skills, an industry recognized Pro Tools 101 course is included in the program. Music Production classes are taught in the Music department's technology laboratories and multi-track recording studios.
