This class is for everyone.  From beginners to experienced Yogi’s.

We will warm up, practice breathing, stretching, do some standing poses.  Work on balance, steadiness, and flexibility, in a safe and fun way. Using props(yoga strap and 2 yoga blocks) one will learn how to incorporate these into the practice.

Come, relax, recharge, feel invigorated and uplifted.

PROPS NEEDED - A Yoga mat, 2 yoga blocks and a yoga strap.

Yoga mat required

Balance your energy, focus on the third chakra, then the heart chakra. Invigorate general strength, digestion and the navel point. Alleviate mild depression and develop the healing flow of life force (prana) through the hands.

Yoga Mats required

In this workshop for beginners and intermediate levels, you will get a taste of how to create the most astonishing watercolors, using techniques ranging from dry into dry, wet into wet and wet into dry. You will also learn about color and composition and some texturing.  Students will familiarize themselves with brushes, water color paper and various tools for painting

Materials needed:

Bring your good artist quality (Winsor Newton or Grumbacher ) watercolor set, two round sable brushes # 1 & # 7, (Yarka, Arches, Kolinsky) an angled Taklon  brush thumb nail size and a flat brush #3/4 “, paper towels, a natural sponge, container for water, B4 pencil, scrap paper for sketching and Arches cold press watercolor paper (pad,  about 11”x15”). For texturing, bring spray bottle, kitchen salt, rubbing alcohol, and doily.

You will paint a still life, a landscape, and a person.

Students are responsible for supplies

Tai Chi II is an extension of the exercises taught in our Tai Chi Basic course, and once learned, can be performed daily at home. This class is for those who have learned the basic Tai Chi moves and will continue to perfect their breathing skills. Please bring a small towel and wear comfortable clothing and an ordinary pair of flat shoes.
