Queensborough Community College is pleased to offer as part of our Personal Enrichment Program, Lifelong Learning Courses. This program offers the opportunity for individuals age 60 and above to attend undergraduate college courses at QCC in an audit capacity. Personal Enrichment students may enroll, on a space available basis, for approved undergraduate level courses at the College. Nursing program courses are not offered in this program.
Come on board and engage with others who share your desire for intellectual growth, learning new skills, and exploring new perspectives. Topics range from the arts, humanities, and history to current affairs.
You will also be learning alongside other students who are much younger than you. Participation allows you to meet new people, experience our community, expand and share your knowledge.
Admissions Criteria
In order to be admitted as a lifelong learner student, the following criteria must be met:
- New York State Address
- 60 years of age or older as of the first day of classes.
Fees
- $65 Senior fee per session/semester due at the time of registration
- $15 consolidated fee per semester due at the time of registration
- Auditors are also responsible for the cost of any course materials, such as textbooks.
