Tobacco-Free Campus

Queensborough Community College is a tobacco-free campus.

This policy applies to all City University of New York (CUNY) campuses and is meant to promote better health in our students, faculty and staff. Anyone who wishes to smoke or use tobacco products must step off campus.

The policy applies to all tobacco products, including cigarettes, cigars, pipes, chew tobacco and e-cigarettes. The policy prohibits their use on all grounds and facilities, including indoor locations and outdoor locations such as playing fields, entrances and exits to buildings and parking lots.

CUNY’s tobacco-free policy was developed to provide a healthy and safe environment for students, faculty, staff and visitors, and to promote positive health behaviors.
